The theme for this week’s episode was soul mates.
At the beginning of the episode Meredith didn’t believe in them, which is funny because she has found her’s. By the end she believed.
I agree with Bailey, Christina has changed. I don’t think she’s changed as a doctor, but she has changed as a person. She had to go away to heal and now that she’s back, she wants Owen back.
Owen is an idiot. He should have waited for Christina to say what she asked him to meet her for, but instead he leads with: he want’s a divorce. I realize he’s asking for a divorce because of the law suit, but what about his marriage? Has he really given up? Christina didn’t even fight. It’s in moments like those that your fate is decided. It could end up being a good thing, but it could end up being a mistake.
Owen and Christina were not the only couple falling apart. Jackson and April were falling apart too. April was late and thought she was pregnant. Jackson made the incredible gesture of marring her and making it work. When the results came back she was so relieved that they didn’t have to get married.
Every single time they had sex she complained about how she was disappointing god and this time she was saying god didn’t hate her. Can you really blame Jackson for ending it? Jackson really cared for April, but she was too wrapped up in what was right and wrong she didn’t just see the great relationship that was blooming.
So Meredith may be pregnant. They tried so hard and now she may have gotten her dream. Is that what made her believed in soul mates? Maybe Meredith is changing too.
