When we left our favorite doctors before Christmas, Bailey was heading into surgery on Richard’s wife and Bailey’s fiancee thought he was being left at the alter.
The operation of Adele was very intense. This scene was very well constructed. We’ve seen so many operating scenes, but this one has to be one of the best. Richard knew exactly what Bailey and Meredith were doing and what was happening. I actually think it be worse to actually know what was going on during surgery. Richard was rather calm and if it wasn’t for him, Adele would have died during surgery.
Bailey disrupted her wedding day and did everything she possible could to save Adele and she dies anyways. How bad is Bailey going to feel when she finds out? I think Richard was right not to tell her. Bailey deserves her moment.
When ever Grey’s has an episode based around the ER, it’s always an interesting one. This one was particularly good. It wasn’t as intense as most ER episodes. These big biker guys came into the ER and they seemed scary at the beginning, but turns out they are just a big family.
I don’t think Callie was completely joking when she told Bailey to run, but she wasn’t talking about Bailey. I don’t think Callie wanted to leave Arizona. I think it was just her speaking out in frustration. Maybe it was good that she did though, because Arizona has woken up and is trying. She may not be ready for everything, but at least she is taking the right steps now.
Alex may have found his perfect woman. Jo is like a female Alex. Will we see these two as a couple?
Did Christina and Owen really need to get divorced? If they are getting back together it doesn’t make sense. How can getting divorced fix their problems? It seems to me it just makes it easier to call it quits if things don’t work out.
What did you think of the episode? Leave me a comment.
