Why did the buyer have to be kept a secret? Derek and April worked really hard trying to figure out ways to keep the ER open.
Who is this buyer that doesn’t want his or her hospital to have an ER? I would think the ER would be the most important element of hospital, why buy one without it? What happens if there is an emergency? Mercy West already closed down, where will those people go for care?
Can you imagine if there were cameras when Meredith, Christina, George and Izzie cut Denny’s LVAT wire? Though they did end up saving Denny. Well, kind of. It wasn’t their fault he had a stroke after the operation.
The intern might have been able to save the boy if she had given him blood, but those were not his wishes. So was it better that Izzie saved Denny and that this intern couldn’t save her patient? It’s tough to say.
It looks like whoever the buyer is, they want a efficient hospital and they want to have as many patients as possible. It doesn’t matter who the patients are. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea.
So what does the future hold of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital? I knew after the settlement that things would be bad. I just didn’t know how bad.
