I guess Oswald doesn’t have to worry about any competition for my favorite villain on Gotham anymore. Jerome was really gaining on Penguin.
I really thought Jerome was the Joker. He was teased as the Joker last season and we were told that he was the Joker. Was this always the plan or is this something the writers came up with between season one and two?
Season two is very different than the first season. It’s like a whole new show. Sure a lot of the characters are the same, but the tone of the show is very different. It’s much more suspenseful and the writers are not afraid to kill off characters. I was very worried about Lee tonight and I have very mixed feelings about Jerome being killed off.
He was such a great villain. I was having a lot of fun watching him. Of course he was taking away screen time from Oswald, so maybe we can get back to my first favorite villain now.
It’s a very interesting turn of events. Jerome was never the Joker and now there’s a lot of potential Jokers out there.
I have been thinking that something didn’t add up. The Joker was supposed to have killed Bruce’s parents, but clearly in the show that’s not what happened. Now it makes more sense.
That was a very eerie scene where multiple guys had the Joker’s laugh. It was made even more creepy when the two guys killed the homeless man and then one of them turned on the other.
How has Jerome infected so many people? Will we be seeing any of these men in the coming episodes?
Theo Galavan definitely has a long plan. He’s painted himself as a hero in front of everyone in Gotham and no one has any idea that Theo is the man behind of the escape of the prisoners. He’s definitely a man we need to watch. No one will ever see his betrayal coming.
Barbara is diabolical. First she’s seen kissing Theo’s sister and now she’s cozying up to him. And she’s getting very impatient and wold just love to kill Lee. She’s unhinged and she always makes me nervous, which I really love.
Lets take a minute to talk about how brave Bruce was. He was going to go out there and protect Alfred either way, at least Gordon came up with a quick plan, though it was still nerve wrecking there for a minute.
Alfred would have happily died for Bruce, but he’s one character the writers can’t kill off.
There was nothing Gordon, Alfred or Bruce could have really done, since Theo had planned the whole thing. Though Jerome had no idea his story was coming to an end this week.
Bullock is back and he’s better than ever. He’s sticking up for Gordon and ready to fight against the Penguin. His time off has definitely lit a fire under him and I like his new enthusiasm.
We only got a to see a little glimpse of Penguin and we never got to see Ed. Next week we know we’ll see more of Oswald, but will we see more of Ed?
