I’m not really sure how I feel about Oliver running for mayor. I get that he’s taking Quentin’s words to heart. He wants to save his city and maybe Captain Lance is right, he can’t do it behind a mask.
He is certainly a target that can handle himself, so any threats against the mayoral candidate won’t be a problem, but what about Thea and Felicity? I think Thea can handle anything they throw at her, but Felicity may be the vulnerable target here.
I hate to say it, because for the most part she can handle herself pretty damn well, but she can’t handle everything they throw her way. She’s much more mythological in her attacks. He attacks are planned and usually done behind a computer, not always though. I still love that scene where she stuck the syringe in Slade. She was already my favorite character on the show, but I just fell in love with her in that moment.
Could this mean that Felicity is going to get even tougher this season? Seeing as if she’s going to be the woman behind the man, she’s going to be a target quite a bit.
I love the addition of Holt. We need another geeky character on the show, but Felicity is right, only she can talk in sentence fragments. How long will it take Holt to figure out Oliver is the Green Arrow?
Is Laurel sure she wants to bring Sara back from the dead? She’s seen what it’s done to Thea and Thea wasn’t dead for long. Sara’s been dead for a while. I think Laurel should wait till she gets answers about Thea before she puts her sister through the same thing. We don’t know what it’s doing to Thea.
Regardless of how I feel on this matter, it doesn’t matter. We know that Sara is going to be brought back to life to play on the Arrow spin-of, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. I guess I should really tune into The Flash before I check out the second spin-off. How many crossovers are there going to be? I know from Chicago PD that three-way crossovers can get a bit crazy.
I’m very intrigued by Damien Darhk. He’s not like any of the other villains we’ve seen so far. He has a sort of sense of order to him. I feel like the reason he’s stayed hidden is because he hasn’t crossed certain lines. Though Captain Lance working with him is crossing a line for his own moral purposes. He has no right to tell Oliver how to live his life when he’s working with the enemy.
Didn’t we just get past destroying Star City? Well the Glades. Now they want to have it crumble yet again? What is Lance trying to do? According to Damien he doesn’t have a choice, so what does Damien have on him?
I know everyone is going crazy about Anarky premiering tonight. I haven’t read the comic books, so I don’t know what all the excitement is about. He seemed like a pretty ruthless villain, but did Thea not kill him? Clearly being dead doesn’t mean too much on this show. Oliver was basically dead last season and so was Thea. Now Sara will be brought back.
Thea and Laurel are headed out of town, so Dig and Oliver will have to work together next week. That makes me very nervous.
