After the first two Halloween episodes, this one was kind of a let down. The preview promised to be the deadliest yet, but it was not.
The writers didn’t even give Zeyday or Chanel the crown, they made them tie. They redeemed themselves a bit by revealing Chanel’s master plan, which was interesting. Chanel is proving to be smarter than she acts.
Chanel has miscalculated one thing though, her minions are just as selfish as she is. Chanel #3 and #5 are going to do whatever it takes to outlive her.
Grace was having a little reality check at the beginning of the episode, but by the end she was wanting to be in the sorority for her mom.
This episode was unfortunately not as funny as the episodes before. I did like the part when Chad was saying it’s truth or dare, not truth, lie or dare. He’s so stupid and a lot of them are that this truth or dare game could have actually worked.
The deaths weren’t as exciting this week, of course how can you top a death in The Shining maze from last week, that was just epic.
Scream Queens definitely lost it’s steam this week. We were missing some pretty great characters this week too. The Dean was missing, Pete and Gigi were also missing in action.
This episode didn’t give me anymore ideas about who the Red Devil is, but I still want Jamie Lee Curtis to be one of them. I always like being surprised, so I hope it’s a nice big surprise, since I’ve seem to have my heart set on Jamie being the killer.
We’ll have a little break from Scream Queens with the World Series, but when the show returns, I hope it brings back the laughs and great death scenes that have gotten me hooked on this show.
Maybe we can get a little closer to who the killer is.
