One against The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural are competing against each other for People’s Choice Awards.
Both shows are nominated for Favorite Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show and Ian Somerhalder, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are nominated for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actor.
Sadly Paul Wesley and Jared Padalecki missed the cut, but we still love them.
These shows are constantly going head to head for awards.
Last year Misha Collins took home the Favorite Sci-fi/Fantasy Actor award and Ian Somerhalder has also won this award.
Ian has also won favorite duo and favorite chemistry with former co-star Nina Dobrev, but this year there are no duo awards being given. Misha, Jensen and Jared won favorite bromance in 2014, but that also isn’t a category. Which is a shame, because these two shows seem to thrive in those categories.
Last year was a Supernatural and TVD affair with the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actor category with Ian, Paul, Jensen, Misha and Jared all up for the same award. The CW certainly couldn’t go wrong with whoever won the award.
This year the boys are up against David Tennant and Sam Heughan.
Two other CW shows, Arrow and Beauty and The Beast, are also nominated for Favorite Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show. They are up against Once Upon A Time.
Last year Beauty and the Beast came home the winner.
