I may have been disappointed by the Ted reveal, but I was not disappointed by the season finale. It was heartbreakingly beautiful with just the right touch of justice.
The acting from William Moseley was amazing. It was the best we’ve seen him all season. He went from heartbroken to angry so well.
We also got to see some great moments between the twins. It shook them to the core finding out who killed their father.
We may have seen this coming, because the writers were alluding to it for a while, but Len and Liam never saw it coming. Why would they? Ted had been almost like family to them and he’s betrayed them more than anyone else.
With everything going on, my favorite part of the episode was when Len and Jasper were holding hands and when she gave him a little smile at the end. Could this mean that Jaspenor is back on?!
Jasper found the truth and then he helped get them justice for their father. Len couldn’t press play. She just didn’t have it in her, but Jasper was able to do it. I think it was better that Jasper did it, the truth came out and she didn’t have to be too involved.
Jasper may have come to the palace with bad intentions, but ever since he fell in love with Eleanor, all he’s done is try to make her happy. Even though he’s made some pretty bad mistakes.
I was really worried when Liam was pointing that gun at Ted. I thought he was going to pull the trigger. I know the real Liam, he would never do it, but he was so distraught. He just found out who really killed his father and he’d been hiding in plain sight.
The Royal family got the right kind of justice. The truth came out and the crowd took care of him. Simon was a great king and it was right that the people got to give him justice.
I’ve liked Helena, but I fell in love with her character this week. We know she’s manipulative, but she out did her self this time. She helped put together the outing of Ted and she ruined Cyrus too.
I thought Rachel had changed sides, but she’s loyal and the perfect publicist for Helena. I’m all about team Helena and she had an epic takedown of Cyrus. It’s no surprise she was able to get Prudence to hear side of things. Now Cyrus doesn’t have his heir to the thrown and Helena can swoop back in. Cyrus wasn’t fit to be king anyway.
I kind of like seeing Cyrus completely fooled in the way he was. He never saw it coming. I wanted to feel bad for him after Violet was taken, but it didn’t last long. I mean he is Cyrus. He’s always doing something to make you hate him.
The Royal family finally got over one obstacle and now they have more to come. They didn’t show us inside the Simon’s coffin, but I can guess the bones weren’t there. Where did the bones go? Who took the bones? Does someone want to make sure Helena wouldn’t prove that Liam is the rightful king? She’s made quite a mess of things.
Just as Liam and Helena are ready for Liam to be king, it turns out that Robert is alive! That was definitely a twist I didn’t see coming. Is Robert another cutie we will get to look at every week?
Even if he is, I’m still all about Jasper. Is it bad that there will be two princes to choose from and I’m choosing the bodyguard? I would love to be Len’s best friend, though. She needs a good friend.
Another thing that has to be mentioned is how great the music was. The music hit all the right notes at all the right times. I shouldn’t be surprised, One Tree Hill was good at doing the same thing.
Well that’s it Loyals. We will have to wait till the fall to see what happened to the king’s bones and what happened to Robert. Plus I’m hoping Jaspenor will be back together!
