It probably shouldn’t come to any surprise that the fashion was a little toned down as the liars raced against the clock to save Hanna. Even still, there was some great fashion.
In reality, no one is going to care about what they wear when they are trying to save their friend. Then again, none of us are going to be in this situation anyways. Lucky for us, Pretty Little Liars has a great costume designer. So no matter what crazy thing the girls are doing, we can be in awe by their fashion.
Aria once again was my favorite. She wore a Safa metallic tee by Sandro, burgundy pants and a Brooklyn Leather Biker jacket by All Saints.
This was a lot more toned down than Aria’s normal style. She was the most stylish of the episode but looked comfortable enough to be searching for clues on who really killed Charlotte. It kind of reminded me of something that Buffy would have worn but updated to the current trends today.
This is a fairly easy look to pull off. The metallic shirt is sold out at Bloomingdales, but you can get a very similar shirt from Forever 21 for only $10! You can also get the burgundy pants from Forever 21, but hurry up, they’re on sale right now. Then swing round to H&M and pick up the Biker jacket. The exact jacket from All Saints is no longer available, but the one from H&M will do just fine to complete your look.
The other fashionista from the season seven premiere was Mona. I’m so happy that she was in the episode and she was wearing such a cute outfit. I hardly ever get to write about her fashion.
The great thing about Mona’s look is we can wear her look now. It’s gotten a little too hot for Aria’s look, but Mona’s is great for cocktails on a rooftop bar after work.
The former ‘A’ wore a long sleeve tie neck woven blouse in Ecru Bird by Harlow & Graham, blue Farrah pleat front shorts by Tory Burch and blazer. Unfortunately, the blouse is no longer available at Nordstrom Rack, but once again Forever 21 has a similar option. I actually like the blush blouse at the fast fashion store better than the one Mona wore and it goes really nicely with the blue.
The shorts are also no longer available, but for $195, I don’t know about you, but there’s got to be better options out there. And there is! J. Crew has similar chino shorts for only $40.
The last thing you need to complete this look is a blue jersey jacket from H&M.
Season seven has just begun and I’m sure we have a lot of amazing fashion coming our way. Once Hanna gets away from Mary Drake, we’ll have her great looks to look forward to too! (As long as the writers don’t killer her off first).
