Younger is coming back for a third season on Wednesday and the drama has stepped up since season one. In season one, Liza was just trying to work to pay for her daughter’s tuition. Enter Josh and things got a lot more complicated as she fell completely in love with him.
Of course, if Liza came clean, we wouldn’t have a show and we want to keep living vicariously through her. This is reason number one of why you should tune into season three.
I’m also dying to know who she will choose. It’s not the traditional love triangle and it’s a lot more fun. How can you not enjoy the romance with her and Josh but Charles is much more suited for her in the long term. I’m always saying I’m #TeamJosh for me and #TeamCharles for her. If I’m really thinking about what I want for the character, truly, I don’t know. Logically, Charles, but Josh and Liza have been such a surprising relationship. Through everything, they’re still going.
Josh is definitely the third reason you should tune in. Come on, look at that face. We all dream of Josh walking up to us in a bar and scheduling a date with us in our calendars. Liza is just lucky enough to be living that fantasy.
Kelsey is the fourth reason you should tune in Wednesday night. Not only is she a bold editor climbing the ladder, she’s also got the style we want to steal. She’s not perfect, though, which also makes her character so great. Plus, this season she’ll be grieving over Thad and I’m sure that will add even more depth to her character.
Lastly, we’re all on the edge of our seats wondering how long Liza can pull this lie off. She’s had some pretty close calls but she’s still going. At some point, it will become absurd that she’s still moonlighting as a 26-year-old, but for now, I’m having too much fun watching her that I want her to keep lying.
