The world of The Flash as we know it is no more and we’re left with a totally different reality, the Flashpoint.
Barry is happy having his parents back, but as we know, the rest of the world is not the same. Barry didn’t grow up with Iris and Joe, and Cisco isn’t the geek that we love.
We were shown glimpses of the Kid Flash but now in this new sneak peek we learn that Barry isn’t even the Flash in this world. It’s definitely a strange world where Barry is not the Flash.
We know all too well how bad changing the past can be. Unfortunately, Barry isn’t thinking about that because he finally has his mom back.
The Reverse Flash warns Barry about this new world that Barry has created. It appears that the Reverse Flash can help him fix things. The question is, how long will it take Barry to figure out things are going to end badly?
We know this isn’t the true reality. In this clip, the Reverse Flash even names this “mirage,” as he calls it.
This is a great peek at the new season to show just how dire the situation is. It also makes me feel better because this means eventually, Barry is going to have to restore things to the way it was. The way it should be.
