Any episode that starts with Felicity is going to be a great episode. I loved that Barry went to her to discuss his mistake.
We didn’t get to find out too much of what changed within Arrow, just Dig’s (David Ramsey) kid, who is now a son.
What we would all like to know is how and if Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) relationship has changed. I guess that’s a question for another day.
More than what I thought has changed. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is not himself because he’s depressed that his brother died. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is becoming Killer Frost. And Barry has to share is crime lab with someone.
Granted, I am happy about Tom Felton’s appearance in this new timeline. He’s proving to be an interesting addition, even if he doesn’t like Barry (Grant Gustin).
As much as I hated this new timeline, I did like seeing Barry embarrass himself because he knows nothing about this timeline.
Barry once again thought he could just go back in time to fix his mistake again, even though he just did that and it didn’t work.
I loved that Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) stopped him from going back in time and gave him a stern talking to. He really can’t just keep going back in time to fix his mistake. Time doesn’t work that way.
Jay told him he has to learn to live with his mistakes and move forward. This was a very hard lesson he had to learn and live with.
He finally told his friends the truth and it was heartbreaking to watch. It was great to see Grant break down, though. It’s great seeing Barry break and learn a hard lesson. As much as it pains me to see characters I love hurt, it’s also great to see the depths the characters can go.
This changing timeline is opening up things in these characters we haven’t seen before. It’s so sad to see a depressed Cisco that won’t give villains nicknames and that the great Barry and Cisco bromance is gone. It’s also great for Carlos as an actor, though.
It was hard to watch Cisco desperately want Barry to go back in time but Barry can’t fix it. He can’t change time again. It was a very hard lesson for him to learn. And now it’s a lesson that Cisco will have to learn through Barry.
By the end of the episode, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) made up and Cisco was starting to act like the guy we love.
Iris was a big part of it but Barry being in trouble also helped. They had to come together to save Barry.
Cisco pulling out Vibe was great at the end and maybe the two will be sidekicks, eventually.
This timeline is coming together. Barry finally got another kiss with Iris, even if he did erase the last two.
Barry should be asking them about this timeline. He makes a fool of himself every time he opens his mouth. He needs to know the world he’s living in now.
After two episodes, I may be okay with this timeline. Though, I am wondering what other changes Barry created and what kind of ripple effect that will have.
Only time will tell.
