There was so much going on in the winter finale of Teen Wolf that it was hard to keep up. The two worlds seemed to be overlapping that it was hard to tell if we were in reality or in the hunt.
Relationships were definitely the theme of this episode. Love, friendship, didn’t matter what kind, they all played a big part in saving the day. It’s hard to say what reunion was the best. I’m sure most people will say the Stydia reunion was the best and while I loved that moment when Lydia and Stiles reunited, I think my favorite might have been when Stiles and Scott reunited. They’ve been best friends since the very beginning and been through so much. Plus, it was epic when he came with his bat and hit Mr. Dounglas in the head. He sure knows how to make an entrance.
We’ve been waiting so long for the Stydia moment and it was well worth the wait. Just like in The Vampire Diaries where we waited several seasons for Steroline, it’s great to watch a relationship grow quietly. There’s something so special about this process and lead up. I know we would all love to fast forward but when we finally make it there, it makes it so much more special.
One of my favorite moments of the episode was when Scott, Theo, Malia, and Peter came together to make a pretty tough pack. It was an unlikely pack but they worked really well together.
I’ve loved Malia’s storyline this season and it just keeps getting better. She had to connect with her father to save everyone. Does this mean they can actually have a relationship now? Peter has been the worst person ever but Malia deserves a family. Yes, Scott, Lydia, and Stiles are definitely her family, but she deserves to have her dad too.
Liam is definitely ready to be the alpha. He’s proved it time and time again this season, especially in this episode. I loved when Stiles passed on his bat to Mason because he will be saving Liam a lot. Stiles definitely saved Scott a lot.
I love Stiles’ character because he has no supernatural abilities but he still goes into battle with his friends. He’s brave and smart. Two great qualities in any person.
This almost felt like the end, luckily we still have ten more episodes left. I just don’t want to wait until the summer to see them. Then again, I’ve been waiting for the last ten episodes of Pretty Little Liars and those episodes are almost here. So, the time will probably go by faster than we think.
After these ten episodes, I have no idea where the last will go. Hopefully, we’ll get to see Stydia as a couple. I am sad about Malia and Stiles. I really liked them together. I know Stiles and Lydia were meant to be together since the beginning but Malia and Stiles were just so cute together and he was the one that helped her adjust to being a human.
This winter finale was one of the best episodes of Teen Wolf. I hope it just keeps getting better from here and we get more Stiles in 6B. Is it too early to start the countdown? Oh, well, we’ve already started.
