Jeff Davis is giving us everything in these final episodes of TeenWolf. Old characters keep popping up, characters are getting deeper and deeper in danger and we’re still exploring character dynamics. What more can we ask for in the final episodes? Well, other than Stiles to come back sooner.
We’ve already got to see a lot of characters in season 6B but I don’t think I would have guessed Kate (Jill Wagner) would make an appearance. She hasn’t changed. Always messing things up for the pack and in some ways working against her own interests, while she believes she looking out for herself.
The person we were most looking forward to seeing this episode was Tyler Hoechlin. We definitely couldn’t end the series without this man coming back. He’s always on a mission for something and it always seems to align with what Scott (Tyler Posey) is going through. We got to see a lot of Derek during this episode. We got to him fight, we got to see his beautiful blue eyes, driving off in yet another cool car and we got to see him warning Scott before he went after Kate. With everything else going on right now, it was nice to have a little breather with a lot of Derek.
The fight is long from over. Lydia (Holland Roden) had to render herself unconscious to save her friends. Theo and Mason are literally facing their fears. Scott and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are trying to learn how to fight blind. If Lydia’s vision comes true all of this is for nothing. She saw all of them turn to stone. We know some people are going to have to die and it’s definitely going to make me very uneasy going into the final episode. They’ve changed things before, they can do it again. Especially since Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and Derek are coming back to help.
The thing that has me the most afraid is Gerard (Michael Hogan) planning on lacing a bullet with wolf’s bane to kill Scott. Can the pack rise above if Scott was killed?
We also have to find out what happened to Jackson (Colton Haynes). We are going into the last episode in a very precarious state. I don’t think we’ll be doing much breathing in the final episode. I kind of like that Lydia woke up saying “Where’s Jackson?” He was her first love and they will always be connected because of that.
