There’s a YouTube Red original that I’m looking forward to seeing, so I thought, do they have any other originals that I might be interested in? I was definitely not aware of how many originals they had. For Friday the 13th I reviewed 12 Deadly Days. For those of you that are impatient for Christmas, this will give you a dose of that but for those horror fans, you get a dose of that too.
Depending on how easily you scare this show could scare you or you could just be laughing. It is pretty funny and sometimes silly but if you make it through all 12 episodes, you’ll be very happy. They tie everything in nicely with a nice back story. It’s an easy binge and if you spend a lot of time on YouTube, you will see a lot of familiar faces. The stars of this show are YouTube stars.
It’s a show about a town that’s cursed and strange things happen right around Christmas. Strange and crazy things. As the episodes unfold, it just gets crazier and crazier.
There are some really funny episodes, some really gory, some that will actually almost scare you (if you are like me and horror films just don’t scare you). There are episodes that are like a good classic horror film and there are episodes with a good ghost story.
For gory: Nuts A’ Cracking. For downright gross: Cakes A’ Cursing. For almost actually scary: Coffee Cups andElves Ascending. For a classic horror: Singers Slaying. For ghost story: A Haunting at the End of the Street. For the others, I’ll let you decide which categories they fall into.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well done these episodes were. If you like binging TV shows, YouTube shows might be just for you. This is only my first show on YouTube, so I can’t say as a whole how they all are but this one I thoroughly enjoyed. I will be checking out others and I’ll let you know if you should be investing in another streaming site.
Watch it for Friday the 13th, Halloween or Christmas, it fits in all categories. Here’s the trailer and Happy Friday the 13th!
