The first look at season four of The Royals is finally here and we can expect a whole lot of drama. Maybe even more than previous seasons. We may only have a tiny glimpse of what’s to come but I’m already very excited.
What I’m most excited about in this little clip is it appears that Eleanor (Alexandra Park) and Jasper (Tom Austen) will get back together! How they get reunited is a mystery but they appear to be happy. Of course, there is a lot more drama going on around them.
We knew Robert (Max Brown) wasn’t going to be a good king because not even his father believed he would rise to the occasion. Looks like he’s living up (or down) to that reputation. He also looks like he’s getting out of control. At the end of the last season, Liam (William Moseley) was choosing to align forces with Cyrus (Jake Maskal) just to take down his own brother. This alliance can’t end well.
Robert showed his true colors when he used and left Kathryn (Christina Wolfe). Every season finale so far has been shocking but this one went beyond anything we’ve seen so far. If that’s how he treats his women, that doesn’t bode well for him being king. His father really did know him so well.
There may still be a chance for Willow (Genevieve Gaunt) and Liam. She pops up in the promo, so to me, that means we can continue to ship this couple.
We’re sure to get just as many parties and drama as the first three seasons and it probably all start with Robert.
What mystery will this season hold? We will have to wait until Sunday, March 11 for all of our questions to be answered. We finally have a date but it’s still too far away. I will have to rewatch season three before we start this next chapter.
