When Liam came tearing in attacking Robert’s double, we should have known this episode was not going to end well.
Liam (William Moseley) is in such a rush to take down his brother that he really messed things up. Cyrus (Jake Maskall) told Liam not to tell anyone because he had people that could help them expose Robert (Max Brown). Liam didn’t wait two seconds before he told Jasper (Tom Austen). While that was okay, confronting his brother and mother was not. That was way too soon, and while I don’t trust Cyrus, he is good at scheming. Liam should have listened to Cyrus. Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) covered for her son and made Liam think that Robert is not the evil person that he is. The look Robert gave his mother said it all. If that wasn’t enough, he planned a blackout of London. We just don’t know why he planned it yet but I hope it doesn’t have to do with Jasper. That’s a lot of firepower to take out one man.
We just got Jasper back and we had some great Eleanor (Alexandra Park) and Jasper scenes. Robert called Jasper a distraction but I think they bring out the best in each other. Len decided to help people, and she started with the people in the hospital. Yes, it was her cover but she really went all out and made the girl happy. The girl couldn’t have a dance, so she brought the dance to her and managed to get the boy for her too. She was so worried that the boy wouldn’t come. Jasper decided to come as a backup to try to make the girl happy. It was such a beautiful moment, both of them coming together.
If our Jaspeanor couldn’t get any better, Len decided he was moving into her room! All of our dreams were finally coming true but as Jasper was being put into the ambulance, I had a bad feeling that something was going to go wrong and that Robert would be behind it. But as I mentioned before, was the blackout for Jasper?
I really don’t like that Robert keeps going after Willow (Genevieve Gaunt). He says all the right things, but I don’t think he’s after her for the right reasons. It’s all part of his plan, and I’m very worried for her.
Three episodes in and The Royals have gotten pretty intense. Jasper got shot, Liam almost shot his brother, Robert keeps coming out as the charming guy, when we all know differently, and now Jasper is in danger, again. Can we please leave Jasper alone and can Liam be more patient in taking his brother down? Robert is playing the long game, and Liam needs to too.
