Riverdale is finally back and the season three premiere gave us so many great moments. We definitely have a lot of turmoil ahead of us this season, so let’s take a moment to enjoy some of the great things from this episode, that make us smile. I tried to rank my favorite moments, but it was too hard. These are in no particular order at all.
Cheryl’s Epic Entrance
Cheryl knows how to make an entrance, and this was definitely one of her best. I was almost in tears up to that point, and then Cheryl walked in, and she floored me.

Veronica’s First Look of the Season
If you know me, if you follow me, then you know how obsessed I am with Veronica’s style, and she was on point in this first episode. I’m loving how sophisticated and sexy she looked in the opening scenes. This may be my favorite look ever for Veronica. I hope there’s so much more to come.
Fred, FP and Sheriff Keller Teaming Up
Yes, this is part of the turmoil that’s happening, but I was so excited when FP said, “Whatever it takes.” This is one team up that I’m extremely looking forward to seeing. And as the tweet below says, “Take Hiram down.”

Archie Getting Serpent Tattoo
It wasn’t Archie getting the tattoo that made me love this scene. It was Jughead welcoming Archie into the Serpents, so he would be protected when he got to Juvie. I loved how he was giving his best friend advice. Then, FP jumped in with some more advice. It was a bittersweet moment, but a great one.

Bughead
Bughead warmed my heart in this episode. They are a true team. With everything else falling apart around them, it’s nice to see they are on solid ground.

The Car
Riverdale is so different than the comics, but every once in a while they take something straight out of comics. I loved that Fred and Archie fixed up the car, and I loved this simple moment that the four shared. For once, they got to be normal teenagers.
Lots of Shirtless Archie
I don’t think we’ve ever seen so many shirtless scenes of Archie in one episode. Did he wear any shirts in this episode? Thank you to the writers, and please try to keep these scenes coming.
