I had no idea what I was getting into when I started watching Tell Me a Story. I just knew I liked Kevin Williamson, Paul Wesley and Danielle Campbell. We weren’t given too much from the promos or even the interviews, but they couldn’t tell us too much. It’s the kind of show if you give too much away it will spoil it. There’s one surprise after another, and now that we’re getting towards the end, no one is safe.
I’ve been enthralled with Kayla’s (Danielle) storyline since the beginning. It was the cliched storyline of a student sleeping with her teacher, but we had no idea at the time that it was so much more. Kayla will be feeling a lot of guilt over the death of Ethan and Laney (Paulina Singer), but she shouldn’t. Nick (Billy Magnussen) targeted her and seduced her. Was Kayla’s mom his first kill or is this a pattern? Each episode just keeps getting worse for Kayla. She narrowly escaped, and now Nick has Colleen (Kim Cattrall). He has some serious problems if he thinks killing the people around Kayla is going to bring her back to him. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this storyline will end.
I thought Jordan’s (James Wolk) storyline couldn’t get any worse. His actions caused four people to die. That’s rock bottom. He finally decided to come clean, but unfortunately, Sam (Dorian Missick) controls way too many of the cops. Detective Garcia (Zabryna Guevara) was trying to do the right thing, and she was killed because of it.
The Gabe (Davi Santos) and Hannah (Dania Ramirez) story has had some pretty crazy twists. As crazy as it is, they seem to be in better shape than Kayla, Colleen, Tim and Jordan at the moment. Hannah has the upper hand, but there’s no telling what Katrina (Becki Newton) is capable of.
We’ve seen how some of these stories intersect but will they all come together in the end?
Only one more episode left. How will it all end?
