I’ve always said the best thing about any show is the characters. And Roswell, New Mexico has some great ones. Characters that I’m already falling in love with.
I won’t give too many spoilers in this review because if you haven’t checked out this incredible show yet, you need to. And I want to let you experience for yourself.
It’s clear that there are a lot of secrets. The best shows always start with secrets to uncover. Through it all, we got to know the characters a little better in episode two.
Liz (Jeanine Mason) is the strong, smart and a very conflicted woman. She’s clearly in love with Max (Nathan Parsons) but can you be completely in love with someone when they won’t tell you the whole truth?
Max is very intriguing. He’s the boy scout and a very hot one at that, and he’s got a very dark secret that he’s terrified of. I could be wrong but I think whatever his dark secret is, it isn’t as bad as locking it away.
In the season premiere, I was interested in learning more about Michael (Michael Vlamis) and we got a little more of a taste of him in episode two. He’s definitely a very layered character and I can’t wait to peel away those layers.
I was not a fan of Isobel (Lily Cowles) but I am already coming around on her. She cares so deeply about her brothers and keeping them safe. She was right about it being a mistake that Max told Liz, but not for the reasons you might think.
I was very excited about Michael Trevino’s character, Kyle, in the premiere and in the second episode he’s already becoming one of my favorite characters. He’s smart, he’s loyal and he’s probably going to be wrapped up in the whole mystery.
Alex (Tyler Blackburn) is also becoming a character I’m dying to get to know more. Especially when we found out he’s besties with Liz and Marie (Heather Hemmens).
We also got to meet Riley Voelkel’s character, Jenna, this episode. We haven’t seen enough of her to know too much about her yet, but I like what I see and I want more!
There are so many amazing characters on this show and Carina Adly MacKenzie keeps leaving us wanting more at the end of the episodes. I would binge watch this if I could. I just want to get to know each and every one of these characters more.
