Michael Guerin has been killing it this season in Roswell, New Mexico. He’s found a good place with Alex Manes (now, if they can only figure out he’s missing), he’s feeling confident in his abilities and he’s even playing double agent. Things were looking great for him. But the other shoe dropped. Will Michael be okay?
Michael’s (Michael Vlamis) plan wasn’t a bad plan. Bonnie (Zoe Cipres) trusted him pretty quickly, and he even got Clyde (Andrew Lees) to give him that alien hologram. And also, let Bonnie be her a little bit. It would almost seem as if it was going well.
But Tezca (Brigitte Kali Canales) is running everything. There’s not a move that happens that she doesn’t know about. And unfortunately, it looks like even though Bonnie liked and trusted Michael, she still executed the plan. Even if in the promo for episode six, she didn’t want to do it.
It seemed weird when Michael couldn’t turn on the lights in the cave. Pause here. Can we talk about Bonnie having an Ariel cave, just like in The Little Mermaid? She’s fascinated with all the human objects. It was cute, especially since I am a Little Mermaid fan. I could almost forgive her for hurting Michael, almost.
Michael is the powerful one, so it seemed odd that he was having difficulty. I questioned it at the moment, but there is so much going on. Plus, I keep asking the screen when they will figure out Alex (Tyler Blackburn) is missing. Now Malex needs to be saved. And we haven’t even found Eduardo Ramos (David DeSantos). Or did we? Bonnie agreed to help, but we haven’t seen him yet.
Tezca executed her plan earlier on. She already had Michael maimed before she went after Max Evans (Nathan Parsons). She may be scarier than Jones was. As I said, she knows their every move. This was the case with Jones too. It was hard to get ahead because he was two or more steps ahead.
So, what is happening to Michael? We know aliens can’t get sick. Is he dying? Has Tezca poisoned him? This is a problem that Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason) can solve, right? I know this is the last season, and the writers wrote towards that, so anything could happen. But we can’t lose Michael. We need to save Michael, and then someone needs to save Alex. Malex needs their happily ever after. They deserve it. We deserve it.
