Framing Amanda is now mute, since she’s dead. I really though Jack was going to die. The preview kind of pointed to that, but as I just mentioned, the preview was very misleading.
I was really hoping that Helen was on top of the food chain for the initiative. She was scary enough, this new guy is even scarier. I feel bad for Padma, she’s trying to help and with Helen out of the picture now, things just got worse.
Revenge is usually really intense, and this episode looked like it would be really intense. And in some ways it was, with Emily and Nolan going to rescue Jack and Amanda, and Nolan rushing Jack to the hospital. But what’s the use of framing Amanda now that she’s dead. I love the twists and turns and suspense that the writers put us through, but from a story point of view there was no reason to frame Amanda. If they were framing Emily, that would be more intense. Other than the suspense on the boat this week, the rest of the episode wasn’t that suspenseful.
I was just expecting a more intense episode. Don’t get me wrong, Emily losing Amanda is a big deal for Emily, but other than Amanda sticking up for Jack she was losing her edge in the show.
So who is in charge of the initiative and how are things going to be now that Helen is gone?
