I’m very torn between Carol and Morgan. They both have very valid points, but his one point of this could have waited, was the most valid.
There’s walkers trying to kill you, this definitely could have waited. Carol was in no condition to fight and now she’s in even less condition. They need all their top fighters to take back their home or at least survive.
This confrontation was inevitable, but I still don’t think it should have gone down in this episode.
Anyone else feeling a little underwhelmed by this midseason finale? Sure it’s a great cliff hanger for the winter premiere, but where’s the excitement in this episode.
It started to be exciting as the walkers came in and everyone fled for safety. It was touch and go as Maggie climbed up the ladder, but everything settled down.
There was a lot more contemplating the future and trying to figure out how to get out of the mess they were in.
I know Jessie’s family has been through a lot, but I don’t feel any connection between the three. Rob is trying to kill Carl, which on the one hand is understandable, but Rick killed his dad not Carl.
Then there’s Sam who is totally not ready for this and his mother is doing nothing to prepare him for it. Pretend to be someone brave is not getting him to be brave and I feel like he’s going to get someone killed.
I just really don’t like these new characters and I’m ready to move on from them.
I was sad when Deanna died. I wasn’t never the biggest fan of her’s, but she was trying to create a safe heaven, despite being ignorant of the outside world.
Alexandria has definitely softened up a lot of the characters. Michonne can still fight, but she wants Alexandra to work and now Deanna has asked what she wants. What does Michonne want?
Could this be a sign that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel or are their dreams just meant to come crashing down? Is it bad if I want the dreams to come crashing down?
Carol hasn’t been softened by this place. If anything she’s worse. She can’t see right and wrong anymore. She doesn’t even think twice when she kills someone and that’s very bad. I get that they’ve had to kill in self-defense, but killing becoming second nature isn’t good.
Getting out of this mess will have to wait till the winter premiere, but there’s a lot more coming with the winter premiere than just surviving. The new villain, Negan, was introduced to Daryl, Abraham and Sasha. Maybe Negan can renew a season that started out so good.
