The liars are finally back and with all new fashion! They have a new costume designer on set, so the looks are a little bit different this season. Plus the girls are five years older, so their sense of fashion has grown up a little.
In the opening segment, Aria wore a linen tout à fait tee by Madewell. What made this look really her was the pencil skirt that had pencils on it, by Anthropologie.
While her look has toned down for season 6B, this was a great sophisticated look with a touch of quirkiness, with the pencils.
She also topped the look off with a eye candy necklace by Stella & Dot, which unfortunately, is sold out. The pencil skirt has also sold out.
You can still buy the tout à fait tee at the Madwell website for $50. Try matching the tee with a multi-colored pencil skirt to make it your own look. Maybe Aria’s pencil skirt will be back in stock soon, so you can really recreate the look.
Aria wore a lot of jackets in the first half of season six and she’s continuing that trend. This time with a Myles jacket by Bcbgmaxazria. It’s pricey, but it’s on sale now, so head over to the BCBG website, if you just have to have this jacket.
Try another cape and animal print pencil skirt to copy the look.
We had another funeral in Rosewood. The liars are known for wearing some pretty inappropriate dresses to funerals, but the looks are great for us to steal. Just not for a funeral.
Aria wore an illusion yoke crepe sheath dress by Maggy London. You can have this look for only $150 at Nordstrom. Finally a complete look we can copy. This is a great dress for date night or just a night out with your friends.
Aria’s dress was gorgeous, but it wasn’t quite right for a funeral. Emily was the only liar that was dressed appropriately, though most of their looks were a little bit better than previous funerals.
Em wore a tube dress with raglan sleeves that you can purchase from Zara. I would love to wear this dress to a networking event.
Try to find another off the shoulder black dress. It may not be Ted Baker, but you can still have Spencer’s look.
Hanna was the least appropriately dressed. She looked extremely sexy in her dress with a high slit in the front and floor length in the back. The black dress was a turtle neck with cut outs. The dress was more appropriate for a red carpet than a funeral. I envy you if you actually have something you can wear this dress to.
I’ll continue with my other favorite fashionista on Pretty Little Liars. Yes Hanna is my other favorite for fashion on the show, even if she doesn’t have tact in her wardrobe choices for funerals.
My favorite look of Hanna’s was the baths strappy floral print dress by Whitney Eve. She’s really upped her game in the fashion department in season 6B, but she has been working in fashion, so it should come at no surprise.
This dress you can actually buy, but I suggest adding a long sleeveless blazer, like the one she wears. It really makes the look.
Lets talk about that matching lace insert jacket and burnout lace skirt by Bcbgmaxazria. Hanna looks so grown up here. She looks like she’s ready to take the fashion world by storm. Head over to the BCBG website to grab the skirt before it sells out. It’s on sale!
If you are in fashion, this is great choice to wear. It not, any spring or summer event would be perfect for this outfit.
Spencer has always dressed older than she is and she’s continuing that trend with a flutter sleeve coat by Bebe. I’m not a big fan of this coat. She looks great in it and apparently other people love it, because it’s sold out. But for me, it’s not my style.
I’ve thought Spencer looked great in most of her looks over the years, but I wanted to copy very few of them.
The jacket is definitely great for any professional setting. I think Spence could have had more fun with her wardrobe choice for her drinks with the girls.
Emily has always had a sporty, relaxed look, but she’s always had an edge with her wardrobe choices. In season 6B her look is really toned down.
She wore a jean jacked and in the beginning she wore a Pina Coladas tank by MinkPink. People love this tank, even if it’s not typical Em. The shirt is no longer available.
While some of us may not always be dying to recreate Em’s look this season, it’s a great choice of wardrobe for the character. She has a lot of other things to think about than what she’s going to wear.
Aria and Hanna are still my favorite fashionistas on PLL and I can’t wait to see what they wear next.
What was your favorite look of the episode? Is you favorite fashionista changed with their changing styles?
