The final ten episodes of Teen Wolf are here but before we embark on the episodes, I sat down with some of the cast and Jeff Davis in the San Diego Comic-Con press room.
The trailer looked very exciting but my biggest shock was to see Malia and Scott together.
“I think it comes out of left field because you don’t see the progression in the season,” Jeff said. “It’s a trailer moment for sure. But you’ll see how it grows.”
The Malia and Scott relationship came out of Jeff in the writers’ room thinking about what relationships they hadn’t explored yet and what would be meaningful. They didn’t want to just throw two people together. In 6A, they tested out some moments but we’ll get to see where it goes in 6B.
Malia and Scott aren’t the only relationship Teen Wolf is exploring. Argent and Melissa may or may not be getting together in 6B but Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall) did say they are exploring the relationship more but wouldn’t give us too much.
Most of the questions around the round tables were sentimental since they can’t tell us too much and we know very little about the final season. According to the actress, her character’s defining moment was when Ms. McCall saw her son as a werewolf for the first time. This was a great segway questions because Melissa said she has a great moment with Scott in the final season but wouldn’t say what it was.
We can also look forward to episode 613 because Tyler Posey directed the episodes and everyone wanted to be “on fleek” for him (her words).
Linden Ashby (Sheriff Noah Stilinski) always thought his character was going to get together with Melissa and he’s not getting any romance in the final ten episodes. He’s very upset about this.
He’s loved every season of Teen Wolf and loved watching the kids grow up. We’ll have to see what Sheriff Stilinski has in store for us in the final episodes, he never disappoints.
We’re going to get to see a different side of Khylin Rhambo’s (Mason Hewitt) character in season 6B. Mason’s always the optimistic one but now he’s going to have a hard time seeing the best in everything.
Khylin also talked about his character being a little like Stiles and that’s so true. I saw that relationship between Mason and Liam throughout but definitely in season 6A.
The final ten episodes of Teen Wolf premieres July 31 at 8/7c pm on MTV.
